Early evening on the 29th May 1943 after a routine patrol providing air cover for an incoming friendly supply convoy to Malta, 272 Squadrons Beaufighter Mk VI T5038 “Victor” is back safely in its dispersal at RAF Takali, Malta, with EL522 “Freddie” returning overhead. The other 2 Beaus taking part on this patrol were JL506 “Alpha” and EL531 “Kilo”. Proceeds from the prize draw will be donated to the Royal Air Forces Association and the Malta Red Cross.
